The mushroom is falling to bits from the relentless assault. And continues to fall apart as it shoots more spores out and 2 more smaller mushrooms spawn from it.
It Sprays Maretoko with some spores. And the four small mushrooms all latch onto PACU quickly tearing the robot into bits.
Next up is: Blitz, Hussar, Pacu then the Shrooms.

Freaky Fungus uses Spore Shot: Maretoko is Dazed, (Save Ends) (Standard Utility)
4 Sapient Shrooms use Spores in your pores. They each do 5 damage and that in turn does 2 extra each from daze (Standard Attack)
PACU takes 28 further damage.
Saves: 1 vulnerability removed.
Current conditions: Freaky Fungus: Suffering 7OGD (save ends) and Daze (save ends)
1 Sapient shroom is dazed (save ends)

"...So, it appears we have to balance between being attacked by those things and suffering the consequences when they blow up." Blitz tried to shake off the effects of the spores that the two smaller mushrooms sent out when they were destroyed.

2 small mushrooms spawn from the bigger one, then the big one dissipates into a cloud of spores. The two new Sapient shrooms attack separate targets. One hits PACU, pushing the machine past the point of immediate functionality. The other strikes out at Maretoko, who looks to be marked by the main mushroom's spores.
Proto, then Maretoko, then the shrooms again.
- Technicalities:
2 Sapient Shrooms were spawned - (Utility Trait)
Freaky Fungus was removed from combat - (Minor Utility)
Saved from dazed, still suffering 7 ongoing damage (save ends)
1 Sapient shroom attacked PACU dealing 5 damage, with 4 vulnerability, totals 9. (-21HP) - Standard Attack
1 Sapient Shroom attacked Maretoko, dealing 5 damage, with 2 extra from daze, for a total of 7 damage - Standard Attack
Proto, then Maretoko, then the shrooms again.

Proto seems to jurk and twich yet seems to be overlowing while it builds power.

The Freaky Fungus Pops out of the ground, in a new form. It's a bipedal being of rot. With a rotting carapace around it.
2 more Sapient shrooms pop out as well. The giant mushroom raises a rotting limb and fires a mouldy shot out at Hussar, which explodes into plumes of spores landing on the nearby Blitz and Proto. It then follows up by tossing a mushroom onto the bits of PACU's body, which begins to absorb the bits of metal.
The 4 Sapient Shrooms turn their attention to Maretoko and try to destroy their next target.
Next up: Blitz, Hussar, PACU.

For the rest of the encounter, while target creature is bloodied, they suffer 3 ongoing damage, this effect cannot be saved against.
Maretoko is attacked by 4 Sapient shrooms: they each deal 5 damage, 7 with the daze factored in. 28 damage total.
Freaky Fungus saves from ongoing damage, and has temporary HP.
Next up: Blitz, Hussar, PACU.

As Hussar charges the fungus that had just reappeared, the spores that had hit him from the exploding mushrooms severely distorted his perception, causing him to crash terribly into Blitzkrieg, who had also been going after the fungus.
He stopped momentarily and shook his head, trying to clear it. A small amount of dust fell off, leaving him mostly clear of spores.
"My apologies! I probably should have heeded your warning about the spores... I shall endeavor to be more careful."

Blitz is only adjacent to Hussar. (Also you have taken 10 extra damage from that mushroom Cannon on the last turn so you'd be at 4 life instead of 28.)

Hold Up. You need to repick the target for your wind blade attack. Keep the damage rolls though. There are 4 sapient shrooms not two. It was an unfair roll.

The spores must have affected him worse than he thought, for Hussar hadn't crashed into Blitz... Instead it appeared he had trampled the remains of poor PACU. Having cleared his head, he hoped to make up for his terrible mistake by charging at the large mushroom again, spinning it around to face its fellow fungi as it was about to fire.

The Freaky Fungus's rotten shield crumbles and it's body begins decomposing. As it does so, 2 more Sapient Shrooms grow off of it and charge forth. The Freaky Fungus fires it's Mushroom Cannon at Proto, the attack hits Maretoko and Hussar, who are standing adjacent to Proto. The four small sapient shrooms charge at Blitz, bowling him over.
- Technicalities:
- The Freaky Fungus spawns 2 more Sapient Shrooms.
The freaky Fungus attacks with it's Mushroom Cannon Dealing 7 damage (3 if you are bloodied) to Proto, Maretoko, and Hussar.
Blitz gets attacked 4 times for 5 damage each attack. For a total of 20 damage.
(I could be wrong, but I think Hussar is the only one standing at this point.)
