Well, they are working on building a wall, so there should be something like planks/logs, or tools near them (and they're using such currently, from the looks of it). Or you can go try and find something like a stray broom or plank or similar debris/stuff in the city streets (streetwise).

As for the AF's, you probably don't want Thomas Farriner's reputation.

I don't know what I'd do with blanks or a broom, I'm looking for stuff I can throw to divert their attention, or run up and surprise them and then bash one of them in the face with. This is to avoid dragging the whole thing out into actual combat, mind you.

And honestly, I'd rather be Nero. I'm perfectly ok with throwing one AF and having the whole district go up. It'd make this pretty easy.

Well, here a few options.

-Horizon makes some sort of distraction, leads the two cultists into an alley, knocks them out, gets two free cloaks, and we sneak into the northeastern construction. This plan is...rather risky, given that the cultists may simply raise the alarm.
-Rolf can use immovable to create steps so that the rest of the team can climb over the wall (although getting back out might be a pain)
-We can search for a sewer entrance, since we now know where at least two of the manholes come out.

Technically, Zthulan should have rolled stealth if he's next to the wall (which I see as the explanation as to how Skitter was able to talk to him to ask for Koras in the first place), but I guess that's a bit of a moot point now.

Carry on with the Portable Hole thing - Koras is stealthy enough to not get noticed in total darkness and can ferry the hole / passengers across. Just remember that the air in that thing is limited, especially if there's several of you.

Horizon can with a trivial streetwise (10+) check probably find a brick, apples, rocks, bottle or some other small, easily-thrown items to serve as distractions / bludgeons that can be normally expected to be found in an urban street.

My Streetwise is 10 already, might as well have just given it to me. 3+10=13

Horizon grabs two chunks of debris that have some heft to them and sneaks up towards the wall, just north of the construction, before stacking along the wall and approaching the opening. He hurls one up and over, hoping the noise distracts the workers, and pauses to see their reactions.

My stealth check to make it to the wall:
Stealth: 23 (15+8stealth).

Jeraylia makes a low scramble to the wall, following Skitter's path. She looks dubiously at the portable hole, but shrugs.

Let's just finally get over the darn wall XD.

Well I was just going to hop into the portable hole with you, but maybe it's simpler if I just climb over.

Jeraylia Sprints up the wall, dashing from her crouching position when she reaches the shadows of the wall, and makes a grab for the top.

Athletics: 22 (14+8athletics). She's also fairly tall, just saying.

Horizon manages to creep in without being noticed by the two workers. As he approaches, he overhears a conversation between the two workers, both in purple garments.

"...put some weight into it, will you? I wanna get finished with this sooner than later, before the betting is over!", mumbles the first.
"Hey, you're the one that insisted on doing this, instead of just doing a simple, quick, effortless sweep through that sewer there!", replies the other, pointing behind somewhere behind him.
"No way am I going down there. It reeks. Besides, haven't you heard the tales?"
"What tales?"
"There's some nutter down there. Complete wack-job. He hoards rats or something, and throws em at people!"
"Right, great, so there's a wacko down there. We kill him. Problem solved."
"No way man, you know what happened to the last guy that bothered him?"
"He smelled like rats?"
"No, the crazy dude whacked him with a rat, tied to a stick."
"...so?"
"And then, a few days later, he plopped down, dead!"
"...uh huh."
"I know, right? No way I'm going down ther-"

As Horizon throws the rock, it lands with a soft thud against something wooden.

"GAH! It's him! I know it!"
"It's probably just bird or something."
"Or a rat..."
"Oh don't be such a goddamned pussy."
"Oh yeah? Well then, why don't YOU go check it out? We'll see who's laughing when you're covered in rats."
"Fine, whatever... Less work for me to do this way...", he finishes, before walking somewhere out of sight, leaving the other alone.

Jeraylia creeps to the wall without notice, but doesn't manage to jump quite high enough to grab the top, though she does come pretty close to doing so.
