Season 1 Episode 1: Pilot

I did, I did say that. And it's almost like I bumped the storyline to a non-combat episode just so you'll get enough exp to level up without facing another battle where you lose half the party.



As for the Elaborate Heist, I'll need to know which party member, if any, will be taking up the job as a waiter.

Nopony was almost lost. And even then, neither me NOR my conjuration had any damage.

I'm probably gonna end up having the following be my normal skill set until/after lv 2.
Fire Giant
Gather Energy
Syphon Life
Second Sunrise
Perfect Focus.
to get a bit of reliable healing in.
lv 2 will net me that trait where I can bring 6 talents into battle so Psychic Anomaly is back in.

As for who is going to be the waiter, I personally vote who has the highest Persuasion and Stealth just in case. So not me.

You know, I didn't roll higher than a 10 last night? Maybe I already mentioned as much, but for crying out loud... And then Page caught everything... Ugh.

Edit: This just occurred to me, but maybe it would help if our characters all got to actually know each other more? It seems to have helped for PP and Flame Butt. Maybe it could work for the whole team if we used the IRC or PMs or Skype or whatever to do some in-character role-playing outside of the missions? We never seem to have much time during those.

I couldn't find the exact Skype name you gave, so I was wondering if the Lucario is you.

BTW - If you're uncomfortable with sharing your Skype name over the thread, you could just PM it to us. I think that's what I'm going to do.

I sent everyone a request and started a group. Still waiting on Snaitf and Alicorn to respond.

Not that it matters at this point, but my skype name is bootsd081, and I'm on everyday for convenience, even if Im away from the computer.

As zero won't be able to make this week's game, I gave him a solo session. Roleplay wise, TC wont be joining the heist as he is currently locked in jail.

But he made a surprising number of npc friends?

^I'm flattered. I would have loved to be the waiter too, but like CS mentioned already, I'm going to have to miss the next session because I'll be at a gaming convention.

After rereading the logs however, so much of the storyline was explained ( undoubtably a result of a lack of combat action and the whole module being focused on 1v1 interactions ) that I couldn't justify withholding this info from anyone who want/needs it.

Hello friends, I bring you a strange and mysterious proposition. There is apparently a new virtual tabletop program out on google that owns, and I'd like to include it into our game. It has a built in dicebot as well.

This is what the casino mission would look like if played over the tabletop. Notice on the far left you can draw. You can upload images as either maps ( background ) or tokens ( players ). Notice all the ponies scatted around the decks.

It is a slight hassle to setup though, because it requires google+.

So, like most of my DMing, I am giving the players the choice on this matter.
If you would like to continue doing games the way we have, I am perfectly fine with that.
However, if you would like to shift to this Tabletop Forge app (http://tabletopforge.com/documentation/) we can add in all kinds of things like maps of the forbidden temple you are currently retrieving artifacts from.
This can add to immersion, and most specifically allow me to setup puzzles that would be hard to describe without visual aid. For instance, in the current casino map, using tokens makes it very easy to keep track of who is on what floor because, you know, you guys constantly split dem parties.

So, its out there. Let me know by next friday what you guys think.

I don't mind it, as long as I can figure out how to log on and everything. I just tried updating to google+ (and I think I successfully did) but I didn't see the tabletop program in the apps section. Is there some trick to it?

If you have updated your google+ profile and are signed in, clicking on the tabletop force launch button on their website will open the app correctly. There is a trick to getting it to work on tablets, which I am currently investigating.
