It won't. With a break from the Attribute system and being able to freely distribute to skills, BotB has lesser use outside of just being a passive stat buff and other options exist. Specialist is rendered obsolete though Overachiever is still valid. I'm probably blocking low level Tricks of the Trades but it's not a hard ban. I need to update my ban/custom rule list since I do allow some things from back in the utility talent days like Sunderblade that never made it over.

Depending on how fleshed out your universe is or not, I could provide some assistance with some of the setting details that are a bit farther removed from the PCs.

I'm importing some from another superhero campaign I ran so there's some enemies, someone who can be repurposed as a League director, other heroes, a lawyer, and a few assorted NPCs. Plenty more will be useful of course. Of note, don't have any politicians, though hopefully that kind of interaction would be limited.

I will, once we see if I'm actually going to rejoin. Odds are probably pretty good that I will, though. Just not looking forward to all this sheet work.

That reminds me that I need to figure out what to do about the Arcana skill. Magic in a more traditional sense won't exist in the campaign but various elemental and kinetic powers will probably use it. I do tend to have TK users roll Arcana in my other campaigns. The other interesting issue is that for Serena, she would have a valid difference between her trained physical strength and her TK in the guise of super strength. There's no tipping over Professor X's wheelchair situation here.

Also, were you using the previous image attempt for Iron Maiden or were you looking for any changes?

I will but because it should help clear up issues down the road concerning any given elemental, psychic, or beam power. Will make it easier to determine things like the ability to do certain things, opposed checks, or simply knowing what skill to roll. Also helps with figuring out power nullification...if the GM were to do such a thing.

Also, I may not use custom consequences and if I do, they may not be the same ones Crystalite used.

Like all my campaigns, I'll be offering bonus xp for art. I'll be looking for some for some NPCs such as the two villains Crystalite revealed, Toolbox and Staticaster. The former has just a description while the latter would need adjustments to the provided reference image to be less steampunk and slightly older.

Starting roughly level 4, I'll ease up on a few things. For now, just the one resistance. If I may, while I feel the original Feline Grace was better conceptually, Airborne may or may not be worth taking over Fireborn since it means she can jump out of buildings unharmed. Your choice though.

Also, what's her mode of transportation?

The hair I'm thinking of...ugh, I hate drawing attention to my terrible taste in music. But his hair looks like the lead singer Nasri Atweh in the music video for Rude, but shorter. Also, looking closer, his hair's much closer to wavy than it is to curly. So now I have bad taste and I'm a moron.

Speaking of "I'm a moron," I didn't actually save the text bit. Mostly because I was on a library computer, but also partly because I tried to save the text of my last build attempt and it wouldn't reload when I was done with it. So yeah, sorry. Thanks for offering to help though.

For example, Phoenix isn't buff. Just skinny.

He's not done, btw, just giving an example. Copper has said she doesn't have interest in rejoining the game, so I'm tentatively saying I'm not going to rejoin. But, the earliest I can have the sheet done is Friday, so you can expect a definitive answer by then. I'll need to know about our custom superpowers, though. Specifically:

Will of Fire (4)
You have an (un)natural affinity for pyrokinesis. You may create fire from nothing but air, increase its size, spread it, control it, extinguish it, and otherwise manipulate it around you. (Examples: lighting a torch, put out a dumpster fire, write messages in the air with flames, or leave a burning signal for others to see). HOWEVER, manipulating very large flames, fire over a large area, or complicated patterns require an Arcana check against a DC set at the DMs discretion. The fire you produce acts like a regular flame, and will spread if not controlled, or go out without active maintenance or other fuel.

I need to think about it. While I personally tend to lean against custom abilities to avoid balance headaches, I was leaning towards letting that one in as a sort of grandfather clause for prior players and because it's a rather specific fusion. It would explicitly require Arcana checks for the bigger stuff and not sure of cost due to comparison with base fire affinity.

That reminds me, been meaning to note that I may allow some WL abilities in pending direct request and approval. I remember there being a few athletic minded abilities LL lacks.

HM sometimes tends to be it's own lvl 1 midboss. I may go digging for some of the tutorials since some of the more complex stuff is a little mind blowing but difficult to pull off.
