Once the others have a hold of Staticaster, he drops his hands and the forcefield. Turning his eyes up toward the incoming craft he asks, "Uhh... how...?" He glances at Maiden. "...How much do you weigh?"

As Ash and Yuri began their assault against Staticaster, a wave of electricity arced off her suit hitting both of them.  She then rocketed towards the nearby forest.  Meanwhile, Iron Maiden and Phoenix could now see the falling hover platform.

OOC:

Iron Maiden was just about to say something sarcastic in response to Phoenix's question about her weight when she realized what exactly was happening. After that, everything else fade away other than the hover platform just about to crush the bank. Without any conscious thought, she rushed to get underneath it and somehow stop it.

Phoenix sees her spring into action. As the Hovercraft nears the building, his arms spring up, and the same translucent red energy from before wraps around her lower half. He raises her into the air to meet the falling ship.

Using Advanced TK to get her up there, and give her a better chance of stopping it from hitting the bank.

Ash looks towards the forest where Staticaster fled. "Well, she's certainly fast..." She looks up at the falling platform, then back at the bank. "Ah, Christ." She runs inside the bank. "Gotta take care of a thing don't let me get crushed thanks."

OOC:

Yuri staggers back from the electricity, letting of a few choice swear words in Russian. Right, limits. He still had those.

He regains his balance and watches Staticaster speed off. He certainly wasn't going to catch her in this condition. He looks up, and decides he has nothing of value to add to efforts to stop the disk. He blinks in surprise as he remembers the large collection of hostages inside, then turns and bolts after Ash, into the bank. He can't deny that he is extremely curious about where Ash is headed.

Bracing herself for the incoming impact, Iron Maiden manages to deftly catch the hover platform. While there was great force from the height that it fell, an impact that Phoenix could feel ripple through his telekinesis, whatever alloy it was made of was actually relatively light.

Meanwhile, as Yuri and Ash ran inside, they saw two bank patrons huddled in fear that had not attempted to evacuate yet.

"You got it? Now chuck it at the little one so it'll stop lasering us!" Phoenix growls into the mic. Lightness aside, the Telekinetic effort is still a major strain on him, and having already suffered a few hits, he's starting to wear down.

"Sounds like a plan," Iron Maiden managed to reply, before awkwardly shifting her grip, to make it easier to throw. With effort, she turned towards the aforementioned machine. "Hey, catch!

Might Check the Second:

Ash runs past the patrons, heading further inside. "You folks should really get out of here. Seriously, hustle."

"Agreed." Yuri says, skidding to a halt in front of them a moment later. "But don't take the stairs. Go out the front door and get as far away from this building as you can. The parks should be far enough. I hear it's quite nice this time of year." He then turns and runs off after Ash again.

As Ash and Yuri charged in, Hammer was still out cold and Wall looked at them without saying anything other than the defeated look in his eyes. Meanwhile, Iron Maiden made a triumphant heave of the hover platform that smashed the offending pod before it could attack again.

Phoenix lets out a sigh, and lowers Maiden. "There, not so hard. Now about Static..." he turns, fully expecting to see the other two keeping Staticaster under control. He does not. "WHERE DID SHE GO?!" His voice blasts across the open comms, "I TOLD YOU TO GRAB HER!"

"All right, buddy," Ash says, undoing the simple knot she tied Wall down with. "Your boss has gone all crush-happy, Crazy Ivan's plan wasn't much of a plan, and I'm gettin' pretty sick of chasing rocket boots around, so let's just find a jail for you losers and get this caper done with." When Phoenix comes in over comms, she grabs Wall by the arm and responds. "Look, Lava Girl, if the lady with the jet engines strapped to her feet doesn't wanna fight, there's not a whole lot me and meathead can do about it."

"I promised you royal embarrassment, not a good plan. And even that went out the window when she decided to park her transport on top of us." Yuri says calmly, hefting Hammer over his shoulder. "And for the record, I'd like to see you keep a firm grip on someone who can safely charge their own clothing with electricity."

OOC:

"Well I had her trapped, but you made me let her go. Am I seriously the only one capable of anything on this team?" Phoenix fumes, then direct his comms to their transport. "Staticaster is away. We need exfil."

"Next time, you can catch and throw the plummeting hover platform!" Iron Maiden snapped, before taking a deep breath, and trying to calm down. Mom always said that fighting with teammates was, while sometimes necessary, generally counterproductive. "Thanks for the boost though. "

"Doesn't look like it." Phoenix sighs and walks to the edge of the roof. "So what was she even after, anyway?"

As Wall and Hammer were led and carried out of the bank, the police rushed to detain them. Wall was uncharacteristically silent during this. With medics that were tending to the hostages, all that was left was the safe deposit box...

"A decoy maybe? She got what she came for while she was in the vault, and took the box to distract us?" Phoenix postulates, taking a seat on the roof and waiting for pickup. "Or she was just doing it for kicks... did you guys check around inside the vault at all?"

"Not yet." Yuri says, moving away from the police and back into the bank. There was, conveniently, a large crater where the vault door should be, so he walked right in, looking for a violently opened cavity in the rows of safe deposit boxes. "Ash, what was the number on the deposit box?"

"Hell if I know." Ash checks the hallway where she opened the box, trying to find where she dropped it. "Where'd you end up, ya stupid hunk of metal?"

Yuri found that Staticaster hadn't pulled out just one safe deposit box. Rather, she had pulled most of them out of the wall. Meanwhile, Ash found that the recovered box number was '941'.
