Now knowing what to expect this time, Tortoise leapt in front of the party bomb, mouth wide open, and attempted to catch as much of the food as possible as it exploded forth (but still ended up making a bit of a mess). He gobbled up the food that fell near him and licked off any that got on him.
"Thanks! Ah need'd tha' aft'r all tha ex'rcise tha' Tusken was givin' me!"
"Ooh! Ah'm comin' with ya, Shall'w!"
He hopped in the boat Shallow was preparing and shrunk into tortoise form to make room for anypony else who was going (or, for later, the loot!)

"I will stay here and 'entertain' Tusken." Carat says while everypony else hops into the boat that Shallow is preparing. "Hey Tusken, now that you have won 'Mine Popper,' would like another game to play? This one is called 'Marine's Lullaby,' and the goal is to get those marines over there to stay in one place as long as you can, and you get bonus points if you manage to get them all to fall asleep! How about it?"

Wordlessly, but now holding a plate of waffles (none were sure where he got the plate), Sixty-Two also stepped into the boat. After he did so, his font mysteriously turned back to normal as he murmured out "This is likely a trap. It was too easy," before taking a waffle bite.

The jolly boat quickly manages to reach the entrapped gunboat. The only thing left on the ship is an iron chest too heavy to be carried swiftly.

Suddenly a blue sea pony shoots out of the water, wrapped in a yellow magical glow. "Don't worry, I'll stop him!"
Carat glares at the floating sea pony. "You do not belong in this campaign. You do not even belong on this forum!" She goes on her front hooves and kicks Coral with all the force her giant body is capable of, attempting to kick the sea pony back to her own campaign.

Torque manages to unlock the chest and disarm the obvious explosive trap that would have detonated once the chest was opened. However Torque fails to notice a mechanism, that activated as soon as he deactivated the first trap, which releases a could of toxins.
(everyone on the jolly boat can attempt an endurance check (or what ever you can justify) to not breath in the toxins.)

Shallow quickly tries to hold his breath, covering his snout and mouth with another rag from his pouch, just as he did back at the acidic bog. He gives a few other to his comrades, before seeing if he can try to deal with this 'cloud' like he did the storms along the trip.

- Rags are conjured up with Magical Tricks. Not sure how a 'cloud of toxin' would interact with weather-crafting, but can I attempt to 'buck' it away quickly, similarly to Rainbow Dash (via athletics, since I can touch clouds)? Or conjure up a fan-like object to blow it away from us (Magical Tricks)?

Still in tortoise form, Tortoise was unable to get out of the way of the toxic gas. In fact, he gasped in surprise, inhaling a large quantity of the stuff. So much for his tough shell- it couldn't keep EVERYTHING out... He'd have to rely on his own internal toughness now...

Somehow Tortoise manages to suck in the entire cloud before coughing it out away from the others. Except....so.... but not CMC (that would make that 'flaw' even cheesier). Though guess next critical success will be a failure... and I'm quite sure that won't refresh at the end of the day, might end up building up a number of those. Still, might be kinda broken, as who knows how often I'll get nat 20's, and 3/day can make a 1-6 a critical success...

(OOC if you had tried that without getting a crit you would have died. Right now you are just have to roll a d10 each time you make a check if you get lower than 5 your check gets divided by two if you roll a one on the 10 more stuff happens. Heal checks can find out how long you have to live, lessen the effects, and if it is absurdly high cure you)

Then with out warning a large masked earth pony draped in a marine coat leaps onto the ship. Upon spotting the sleeping form of Carat he rushes over and with a grunt of effort he rather slowly throws Carat directly at the group on gunboat. Afterwards he manages to knock out and capture the ship's still sleeping captain. He leaves in the same way he came jumping in a single bound back to the base.
(Was going to let Carat to try and stop him but then she fell asleep... Everyone on the gunboat may try to dodge)

He didn't mind admitting it was an accident, though he was glad it spared everypony else the experience.

Yeah, I wasn't intending that as a maneuver to save everypony... though it would have been cool if I had thought about it- and probably would have done it. It was just meant to be a flavorful way to represent the crit-flipping wierdness of "What the Hay?" by starting out as a description of something really bad that turns out okay somehow. I'm totally fine with how it turned out though.

While somewhat miraculously no one actually hit by the still sleeping Carat the manner that she hits the boat knocks the vast majority of the crew into the water. Only Torque ,who managed to get away to the ice bridge, avoids taking a dip in the freezing water. The members of the crew that have eaten a Devil Fruit immediately fell all their strength leaving their bodies the moment they hit the water.
(Boomer and Torque may make rolls to save the drowning ponies.)
A few moments after landing Carat manages to wake up.

Boomer sighs not surprized at all that her huge body ended up getting unbalanced enough to fall into the water. But what really was annoying the bombermare was seeing that at least three of her devil fruit allies had fallen into the water with her. This is why I'll never take eat one of those things... They're totally not worth that major drawback... She goes to quickly save the Zebra and the Turtle-Pony... Part of her still not trusting the former Merine yet, and besides trying to save all three at once would likely just make her lose two of them. Or that's the cyrborg's line of logic as she moved.

Carat stands up on the sinking(?) boat. "Wha...? OH BUCK!" She moves onto the ice bridge as quickly as she can, decreasing size to just below normal pony, to prevent breaking the ice. "Sorry, I can't really help you guys. I'll go after the crew!" Carat gallops off at a breakneck pace to keep track of the crew.
