Oh ok, but I think we should leave the choice of who goes where to each person. I think we'll be fine no matter who goes where though I think Outcast thinks Z-rock should definitely go meet SS.

Before everyone leaves, I'd like to use "Satisfaction Guaranteed". It bestows the benefit of "At the beginning of the day, choose one of your trained skills. Until the end of the day, your allies are considered trained in that skill."

Omi is trained in Stunts, Endurance, Acrobatics and Perception. Does anyone have any preferences?

Perception? Seems the most useful in both the coming events. Probably. Based on what we know. So who knows really. Can't go wrong with Perception at least.

Uh...right. So due to a discussion in the Race section, I would like change Outcast to using an alternate Changeling template that won't be having any effect until we level up.

The changes this template makes are as follows: Instead of having to spend two utilities to get one from another race, Changelings may have a total of one Utility talent from another race equal to the number of utilities gained by leveling up + 1.

Sounds like MW's okay with it, but the re-wording of this ability really confuses me. How can one Utility talent = the number of utilities gained by leveling +1?

Number of utilities gained by leveling up is always 1, isn't it? So are you saying Changelings can get 2 utilities per lvl?

@Masterweaver: As far as I understand it, yeah, we've got Z-Rock and Ratchet going to meet with Sapphire. Everypony else is going to the Diner.

Er, it doesn't change the number of Utilities you get. It just changes how many other race's ones you can have total. So at level 1 a Changeling could take a Unicorn or Pegasi Utility. Just one. Not two. One. They don't lose any Utilites for doing this though. Then at level 2 when they gain another utility their total amount of other race's utilities they can have would be 2. So they could take another Pegasi or Unicorn (or whatever) Utility then or not.

So for example if Outcast did it she could have replaces He Did It! with Awesomness or such. (Not that I'm doing that. I'm fine with my Utilities atm, I do plan on taking Witchcraft next level though.)

What should I roll to identify/examine the machine. Mechanics obviously, but anything else? Perception?

I would think perceiving things about mechanical things would actually fall under mechanics unless it involved finding something that just shouldn't be there or invisible parts or such.

Edit: When in doubt, just roll everything you think applies. The GM can sort out which ones actually do.

Yep, Mechanics or Perception would be the main skills. History might work too, in case you've heard of such things before, though at a harder DC.
